CALL or TEXT [removed phone]$75 cashLine six Tone Port UX2 Guitar recording interface. Comes with MIDI USB cable. Home recording for the guitarist. Download the UX2 driver and Gearbox software on Line6 webpage for amp and effects simulations and you are ready to go. The slightly more expensive UX2 provides 2 front-panel instrument jacks (one normal, 1 padded down for high-output guitars) as well as 2 balanced XLR mic inputs with globally switchable 48 Volt phantom power. Note that only 1 instrument input channel is available, but if you were to use a DI box into the other's channel's mic input or line input, I see no reason not to use 2 sets of guitar amp models at the same time, or 1 guitar and 1 bass. There are twin level meters, though most people will probably use the meters in their DAW software to confirm the recording levels, and on the UX2 there are separate level controls for the phones and main stereo output. On the rear panel you get the same connections as on the smaller UX1, augmented by a coaxial S/PDIF output and a pair of footswitch jacks, which can be assigned to MIDI commands for stopping and starting recording, bypassing effects and so on.A signal-to-noise ratio in excess of 100dB is quoted for both models, and having used them, I've found no reason to dispute this figure; they're very clean and quiet.TonePort is the 1st line of USB recording and modeling interfaces, bringing world-class Line six guitar, bass, and vocal tone to the world of desktop recording. TonePort UX2 hardware interface is USB-powered and come with Line six GearBox modeling software, which provides a must-have collection of sixteen guitar and five bass amp/cab models, 24 stompbox and studio effects (up to ten at once), and six models of high-end studio microphone preamps. TonePort UX2 features a high quality microphone input with preamp, a guitar/bass instrument input, stereo line inputs and outputs, stereo headphone jack, and an analog merge monitoring input. And theres more! It adds features like analog VU meters, a 2nd microphone input and preamp, phantom power for both preamps, stereo digital S/PDIF out, dual footswitch jacks for controlling start/stop and punch in/out, and independent volume controls for the headphone and main outputs. Both units support 44.1/48KHz with 16/24-bit recording, and a 96KHz mode. TonePort hardware and software is compatible with the most popular Mac and Windows recording programs.TonePort UX2 Ins and Outs
